We provide a range of classes where you can learn new skills, and make new friends.
Some of our sessions are delivered in partnership with WEA (Workers’ Educational Association) and may be free of charge if you receive means-tested welfare benefits.
Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, our qualified tutors will guide you through a range of arts and craft skills including:
- Skills for volunteers
- Writing & self publishing
- Ceramic painting
- Crocheting, sewing and knitting
- Parchment craft
- Sugar craft
Children’s art and craft activities:
We run after-school and holiday clubs with art and craft activities, specifically designed for children such as painting T-shirts, pebbles and ceramics.
We can also organise children’s parties with a difference, where young guests can discover ceramic painting, card and jewellery-making, face painting and nail art.
Help us out:
We always need volunteers to support individual learners, particularly people with learning difficulties, or you can use your skills and work experience to run a class of your own, or come and gain experience or confidence to help you get back to work.
We also offer courses on Skills for Volunteering to give you an insight into the basics.
Book your place:
It is not essential to book for all of our classes, but it is advisable, as the sessions are popular and places are limited.
